HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, participated in the funeral ceremony of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, which was held in Tehran.
During the ceremony, HE the Speaker conveyed the condolences of the State of Qatar to HE Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, several Iranian officials, and members of the former Supreme Leader’s family.
HE Al Ghanim expressed Qatar’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people over the death of Ali Khamenei.
The funeral was also attended by Shura Council members HE Abdulrahman bin Yousef Al Khulaifi, HE Mohammed bin Yousef Al Mana, HE Nasser bin Salmeen Al Suwaidi, and HE Yousef bin Ali Al Khater.
HE Saad Abdullah Saad Al Mahmoud Al Sharif, Ambassador of Qatar to Iran, also attended the ceremony.
