The Qatari International Search and Rescue Group, affiliated with the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), has successfully rescued a girl from beneath the rubble of a collapsed building in the La Guararia region of Venezuela, eight days after a devastating earthquake struck the area.

According to Al Jazeera, the rescue followed continuous search operations using advanced search and rescue equipment and technologies. The team located the girl trapped beneath the debris and safely extracted her.

She was found unconscious before the accompanying medical team immediately provided first aid and transferred her to a hospital to receive further treatment.

The Qatari rescue team continues to carry out humanitarian operations in coordination with the Venezuelan authorities and the United Nations Search and Rescue Coordination Cell, as part of ongoing international efforts to save lives and support communities affected by the earthquake.
