Al Bidda Metro Station to close temporarily tomorrow from 8pm

Qatar Rail has announced the temporary closure of Al Bidda Station on the Doha Metro on Tuesday, November 3, as part of WATAN Exercise 2026.

The station will close from 8pm until the end of service hours.

Qatar Rail said train services on both the Red and Green Lines may be affected during this period and advised passengers to plan their journeys in advance.

When will Al Bidda Station close?

The temporary closure will take place on:

Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2026

From: 8pm

Until: End of Doha Metro service hours

Al Bidda is an interchange station connecting the Red and Green Lines, meaning the temporary closure may affect passengers travelling between the two lines.

Passengers advised to plan ahead

Qatar Rail has asked passengers travelling on Tuesday evening to plan their journeys in advance and allow for potential changes to services on the affected lines.

The closure forms part of measures associated with WATAN Exercise 2026, a nationwide exercise involving multiple government and operational entities.

Qatar Rail has not announced a replacement transport service in the notice, so passengers should monitor its official channels for any additional service updates before travelling.
