Ministry of Environment and Climate Change seizes 112 prohibited bird-call devices in Al Reem Reserve

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Natural Reserves Department, has warned amateur hunters against using bird-luring devices "the clappers" and the necessity of adhering to the laws and regulations governing hunting, following the seizure of 112 devices in various locations within the Al Reem Reserve.

The ministry called for the necessity of complying with the provisions of Ministerial Decision No. (7) of 2026, which specifies the hunting season for birds permitted to be hunted and the means and tools allowed for use, stressing that violation of those controls exposes violators to the penalties stipulated in Law No. (4) of 2002.
