The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) has opened admissions for the Fall 2027 semester, inviting students from Qatar and around the world to pursue their academic and professional ambitions at the country’s first applied university.
As part of its commitment to expanding access to higher education and supporting outstanding students, the University said in a statement today that it offers more than 12 scholarship categories and tuition fee exemptions for eligible students. It explained that Qatari citizens and children of Qatari women remain eligible for tuition fee exemptions for bachelor’s programs, in accordance with the applicable requirements.
The University invited applicants to review the available financial support opportunities and eligibility requirements as they prepare their applications. Those wishing to apply online for master’s, bachelor’s and diploma programs may do so through the University’s official website at udst.edu.qa.
Dr. Salem bin Nasser Al Naemi, President of the University of Doha for Science and Technology, said the University believes that high-quality applied education opens opportunities for individuals to realise their potential and contribute to their communities. He explained that through its academic programs and scholarship opportunities, the University remains committed to supporting talented students as they pursue their ambitions and prepare for rewarding career paths.
He added: “The international student community is an important part of the learning experience at the University, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds and more than 93 countries. We welcome students from Qatar and around the world to join a learning environment that combines hands-on education, labour-market needs and vibrant campus life, preparing graduates to contribute to Qatar’s continuing development and at the international level.”
Across its five colleges, the University offers more than 80 academic programs designed to meet the changing needs of industry sectors and Qatar’s labour market. Its applied-learning approach combines academic knowledge with practical experience, equipping students with the skills and competencies needed to succeed in their chosen fields.
