Qatar has condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of two locations of Kuwait’s northern land border by drones launched from Iraq.
In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it considered it a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and a serious threat to the region’s security and stability.
The Ministry said Iraq had to assume responsibility to prevent the recurrence of these aggressions.
The statement affirmed Qatar’s solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty and security.
