Al Arabi announced the end of contracts of four football team players: Cameroonian professional Karl Toko Ekambi, Jordanian professional Yazan Al Naimat, and Qatari players Abdullah Marafie and Ahmed Moein.

The club said on its official X account that the journey of Ekambi, Yazan, Marafie and Moein with the football team had come to an end, wishing them success in the future.

Abdullah Marafie had the longest spell among the departing players, having played for the club for 15 years from youth level until wearing the captain’s armband.

Ekambi, Yazan and Ahmed Moein joined the team last season.

Al Arabi have started preparations for the new 2026–2027 sports season with fitness training in Doha.

The team will travel to Spain for a training camp from July 19 to August 7 to continue preparations. The camp will include five friendly matches against Spanish and Arab clubs ahead of the new season.
